This shawl neck sweater suits for both, boiled wool and knitted fabric as well as different jerseys (The picture shows the sweater made of boiled wool. By using different fabrics, the collar will look differently.) Due to the fact that the shawl neck is slightly incised both sides of the fabric are visible which means printed fabrics are not suitable. (If you copy a Kragenbeleg of the pattern,) the neck can be turned over with an embroidered piece of dupion silk or any other suitable fabric. The front piece length is 59 cm (23 inches).
